To get here, take Infanta up towards the Malecon to San Miguel and turn right.

Mirella welcomes enthusiastic ladies and lads who tour Cuba, taking the most affordable paths, putting up with friendships with some will and curiosity.

Mirella took over from the group PaMochileros through a Facebook page.

Their original project, a rental casa, materialized in May 2014 with the opening of this floor in Centro where they welcomed (in two bedrooms including 5 beds and one shared bathroom).

The actual hostess took over for the group and now gets to know and advise travelers to show them that one can still find Cuba on a bargain basement budget.

Rates : 10cuc per person por noche.

Their directions to the casa from the airport says to hitchhike to avenida Rancho Boyeros then share a collective taxi or "almendron." to the corner of Infanta. Fare : 2cuc - instead of 15-20cuc for a taxi.

In other words, they mean business when they say budget ... Who knows, the cucs saved might be spent partying at Submarino Amarillo (Yellow Submarine) ... or cat food ; )
