Surrounded by flowery spaces and ornemental plants, the place is caressed by the sea breeze. Its veranda is inviting with the view of el mar — and the smell of the yummy street pizza counter right in front : it sells for something like 75 cents and is tasty. Steps away, a local seaside bar and a couple of convenience counters. In the back, an intimate terrace cum patio in the shade — where meals can be taken. Two aircon bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, tv, fridge and fan : one (rose) with a double and a single. The other (blue) ac bedroom boasts three beds including two doubles, spread in three separate spaces. Parking, meals served, laundry service. The casa is basically run by Idel as Domingo usually has his hands full tinkering with an old Chevy or Pontiac ; ) Rates : 25cuc per bedroom per night, breakfasts, 4cuc, dinners 7-8 |

"We landed by chance in Casa Idel y Domingo. Both welcomed us warmly and we had a nice stay. We felt very comfortable. Casa is located in La Boca, on the sea not far from Trinidad. We had a nice, spacious and spotlessly clean bedroom, next to the garden.
The very good food was enjoyed in the garden. Idel is a really great cook : the best food we had in Cuba! The breakfast and dinner were plentiful, fresh and delicious.
