"Hostal Buena Vista is a very good casa to relax, situated directly in front of the sea. But its location is also very good to make trips to cuban nature or Trinidad, one of the prettiest cities in Cuba. Guillo and Viola are very nice and helpful people - it's fun to talk to them about the situation in Cuba and how Cuban people see it related to the whole world. The rooms are very nice too! It has wonderful rooms, a terrace like the “Garden of Eden” with a view through palms towards the sea, where breakfast and dinner is served by the very kind couple. This well-located casa has the local beach some 10m away. It features a huge sandy lot with a large mango tree and shade. Guillo and Viola rent three air-conditioned bedrooms — one on the ground floor in the back with its own entrance and two large beds and a small living area and ensuite. The newer ac bedrooms are in front : one with double bed and ensuite is upstairs with its own private access and balcony and view of the sea; the other is ground with ac and double bed with ensuite. The young couple are devoted and attentioned owners; Viola has started a bike rental service — her own small business and rents one ac bedroom in her family's casa - Buenos Aires nearby. Guillo — a fanatic fan of beisbol and futbol — is the cook of the casa and prepares large portions of succulent cuisine; he is a truly great chef who dares try any recipe you fell like suggesting — as long, of course as you give him time to get ingredients.  Guillo and Viola are very dedicated and caring, always improving the casa to offer more services to their customers - here with the son of a German couple addicted to the casa - they come back regularly. |
